Couple Photo Prompt – Two Romantic AI Looks I Tested

Want a romantic wedding-night photo without booking a photographer? Here’s the first prompt. It makes a lifted hug under warm fairy lights.

IMAGE 1: A young man in a bright red kurta lifts a smiling young woman in an ivory and gold Anarkali with a deep red dupatta, faces very close, at a night wedding with fairy lights

The second prompt is a different mood. It’s quiet and soft, on a wooden swing in an old house.

IMAGE 2: A smiling woman in a cream block-print saree sits on a wooden swing while a bearded man in black rests his head on her lap, eyes closed, in a heritage room with soft sunlight

The first one is a wedding scene made from scratch. The second one is a photo edit, so you upload your own picture with it. I used ChatGPT for both.

Create an ultra-realistic, cinematic romantic couple photograph at a beautiful Indian wedding reception at night. A young South Asian couple is sharing an intimate, romantic moment under hundreds of warm golden fairy lights. COMPOSITION & POSE: A young South Asian man wearing a luxurious, bright red traditional kurta is gently lifting his partner in his arms. He holds her securely around her waist while looking deeply into her eyes with a soft, affectionate expression. The young woman has her arms wrapped gently around his neck, smiling sweetly while looking down into his eyes. Their faces are very close, creating a natural, intimate romantic moment. The pose should feel candid, spontaneous, emotional, and genuinely photographed rather than staged. MALE SUBJECT: Thick, naturally wavy, slightly messy dark brown hair, youthful facial features, natural skin texture, clean and realistic facial details. Wearing a rich red traditional Indian kurta with subtle fabric texture and a premium festive appearance. FEMALE SUBJECT: A beautiful young South Asian woman wearing an elegant ivory-white Anarkali gown with intricate gold embroidery and a luxurious deep-red dupatta decorated with delicate golden floral motifs. The dupatta drapes naturally over her shoulders and flows elegantly down her side. Her hair is styled in a soft, slightly messy low bun adorned with small white jasmine flowers. A few loose strands frame her face. She wears traditional gold jhumka earrings, a delicate gold choker necklace, and subtle festive makeup. Her expression is warm, shy, and genuinely happy. BACKGROUND: A real outdoor Indian wedding reception at night, decorated with multiple rows of warm golden string lights stretching diagonally across the dark night sky. Beautiful golden bokeh in the background, softly illuminated wedding decorations, red and cream fabric drapes, and several wedding guests standing naturally in the distance. A guest wearing black clothing is visible on the left side, while other guests and colorful decorations create a lively wedding atmosphere. The background must feel authentic, naturally imperfect, and realistically photographed. LIGHTING: Warm tungsten fairy-light illumination, soft golden highlights on the couple’s faces, realistic ambient wedding lighting, gentle shadows, subtle rim lighting on their hair and shoulders, naturally illuminated skin, realistic exposure, and delicate highlight bloom from the fairy lights. Avoid excessive glow or artificial HDR. CAMERA & PHOTOGRAPHY: Shot on a professional full-frame camera with an 85mm portrait lens, aperture f/1.8, ISO 1600, shutter speed 1/160s. Vertical full-body portrait, slightly low camera angle, medium-long shot, shallow depth of field, sharp focus on the couple, softly blurred wedding guests, realistic optical bokeh, natural perspective, and authentic low-light photography. COLOR GRADING: Warm cinematic golden color grading, rich natural reds, deep blacks, creamy ivory whites, soft amber highlights, realistic skin tones, subtle film grain, gentle halation around the fairy lights, and a sophisticated romantic Bollywood wedding-film aesthetic. IMAGE QUALITY: Ultra-photorealistic, high-resolution professional photography, natural human anatomy, realistic hands and fingers, physically accurate fabric folds, detailed embroidery, authentic skin pores, individual hair strands, natural facial expressions, realistic shadows, and lifelike environmental details. ASPECT RATIO: 9:16 vertical composition, suitable for Instagram Reels, Instagram Stories, and cinematic portrait photography. IMPORTANT: The final image must look like a real photograph captured by a professional photographer at an actual Indian wedding. Preserve natural imperfections, realistic lighting falloff, authentic background details, and genuine human expressions. NEGATIVE PROMPT: AI-generated appearance, plastic skin, excessive skin smoothing, artificial faces, over-sharpening, excessive glow, unrealistic bokeh, fake background, CGI, 3D rendering, cartoon, illustration, oversaturated colors, unnatural anatomy, distorted hands, extra fingers, duplicated people, floating objects, incorrect shadows, unnatural facial expressions, unrealistic clothing textures, excessive blur, artificial skin highlights, and studio-like lighting.

⫷ RonyTica Prompt Box
This is a PHOTO EDIT of the attached photo of me, not a new image of a similar-looking person. The result must look like a real photograph of exactly me. Treat my photo as the ground truth for my face. Preserve exactly: face shape and proportions, jawline and chin, cheek fullness, forehead, nose shape, eye shape and spacing, eyebrows, lip shape, ears, skin tone and natural skin texture, facial hair density and shape, and apparent age. Do NOT slim, sharpen, smooth, beautify, retouch, de-age or idealize my face, and do not blend in features from any other person or reference image. Change only what is listed in the scene below. Keep my own hair color, hairline and beard exactly as they really are (use my photo as the guide) and do not copy hair from any reference image. SCENE TO CREATE: A vertical, full-length editorial portrait of two people on a rustic wooden swing (jhula) in a sunlit, faded heritage interior. Shot from a slightly elevated, three-quarter-length angle at roughly chest-to-eye level with the seated figure, the camera sits a few feet back and centered, with the swing’s chains running as strong vertical lines at the left, center and right of the frame. The image is composed in portrait orientation with the swing diagonal across the lower half and the mirror and doors anchoring the upper half. Pose and body angle: One person sits upright at the left end of the swing, torso turned slightly toward the other person, legs tucked in and angled toward the camera’s left. Their lap acts as a pillow for the second person, who lies on their side across the plank, body stretched diagonally toward the lower right of the frame with one knee bent up and the legs extending out of frame. The reclining person’s head rests on the seated person’s lap, one arm folded in front of the chest, the other tucked near the torso. The seated person’s near hand rests gently on the reclining person’s head in a tender, caretaking gesture, while the other arm rests softly along the body. The seated person’s head is tilted gently downward and slightly toward the reclining person, gaze lowered toward them. The reclining person’s head is turned slightly toward the seated person’s torso, eyes closed, in a relaxed, restful pose. Outfit and accessories: The seated person wears a classic Indian saree in a cream and warm beige block-print fabric with a small scattered dark floral or paisley motif, bordered with a wide terracotta-red and burnt-orange band with fine mustard and rust woven pattern detailing. The saree is draped over the shoulder with the pleated pallu falling past the seat and cascading down toward the floor in soft, flowing folds, its fringe nearly touching the tiles. Underneath is a fitted black short-sleeved blouse with a modest rounded neckline. The fabric looks like soft cotton or mulmul with a matte, handloom texture. Accessories are minimal: a silver oxidized cuff or bangle bracelet on the wrist. The reclining person wears an all-black outfit, a loose, slightly rumpled long-sleeved shirt with a soft open collar and relaxed black trousers with generous drape, in matte cotton or linen-blend fabric with natural creasing. No eyewear on either person. Bare feet or simple dark footwear rest near the floor beneath the swing. Background and props: A warm, plastered wall in muted sandy beige-peach fills the background. On the left stands a tall, distressed wooden door or shutter in chipped white and cream paint with exposed gray-brown wood, vertical panels and visible weathering. On the right stands a matching open shutter door with peeling white paint and aged paneling. At center-back hangs an ornate oval mirror with an intricately carved, pierced, whitewashed frame, its glass reflecting soft green palm f Photorealistic, natural skin texture with visible pores, no plastic or airbrushed look, no face-swap look. If anything in the scene conflicts with how my real face looks, my real face wins. Output a single image.

Why I Tried Couple Photos in AI

Couple photos are hard to get without a good photoshoot. AI lets you build the moment you imagine. But I found that a simple line like “romantic couple photo” doesn’t always give the picture you want. You need to know the pose, the clothes, the light, the background and the faces.

Photo 1: The Wedding Night Look

This is the one I like best. The wedding photography look is what I enjoyed most. Warm fairy lights, red and cream drapes, his red kurta, her cream and red outfit. Everything fits together and the mood feels romantic.

The pose helps a lot. They look like a real moment, not a set-up photoshoot.

My prompt for this one has 591 words. That’s long, and it needs to be. It describes the lifted-hug pose, both outfits, her hair with flowers and gold jewelry, and the night wedding place. It also sets the warm light, camera and lens style, golden film-like colours and a tall 9:16 shape.

Here’s what I think matters most. Don’t only describe clothes. Say how the two people look at each other. Say where their bodies are. Say what the place feels like. If you only write “romantic couple photo”, you often get a plain, common picture. When you describe one exact scene, your chances of getting what you want go up.

Because the prompt names pose, clothes, expression and camera together, the parts of the picture match each other better. That’s my view from testing. But a long prompt alone doesn’t make a perfect result. The AI tool and the quality of your reference photo also change the output.

Watch the hands and arms. In a lifted pose they can look odd. Also, if you use this prompt with your own photos, the faces may not look like the real people.

What to change and what you get

Change thisWhat usually happens
Outfit colours (blue kurta, pink or green gown)The whole mood shifts, from classic red to fresh and modern
Time and place (daytime garden, palace courtyard)The wedding glow goes away and the picture feels like a new scene
Pose (forehead touch, holding hands)Fewer arm problems and a calmer feel than the lift
Light colour (cool white lights, candles)Golden warmth turns cooler or softer
Hair and jewelry (open hair, maang tikka)Changes how traditional or modern she looks

Photo 2: The Quiet Swing Moment

This idea is totally different. No wedding, no big decoration. Just an old heritage house, natural daylight and a calm moment. She sits on a wooden swing and smiles. He rests his head on her lap with his eyes closed.

This prompt is longer, at 662 words, so it’s more detailed than the first. It works as a photo edit. It tries to keep the real face from your attached photo unchanged. Then it sets the swing pose, the saree and black outfits, the camera angle with the chains as vertical lines, and the old room.

For this kind of picture, I think the pose and the match between clothes and place matter most. Her saree, his black clothes, the old wooden door, the carved mirror and the sunlight on the floor all build the feel together.

One thing to remember. If you just ask AI to seat two people together, you won’t always get the pose you want. Say who sits where, where the head rests, what the hands do and what each face shows. The clearer you are, the better.

I also put a lot of detail into the setting: the door, the swing chains, the saree weave, the light. In a quiet picture like this, the place makes it feel real, not only the two people.

What Worked and What Did Not

My pick is photo 1, for the look. The fairy lights and the outfits gave it that wedding photography feel straight away.

Photo 2 is gentler, and the room details are nice. But it carries more risk. The face may not match your uploaded photo exactly. The saree folds, the hands and the swing chains can look bent or wrong.

If you want to try photo 2, these tips help :

  1. Upload a clear photo in good light, with the face fully visible.
  2. Pick a plain background, so the AI doesn’t mix it into the new room.
  3. Skip heavy filters. They change the skin and face before the AI even starts.
  4. Use a sharp, large photo, not a small cropped one.

Common mistakes and fixes

Odd hands in the lifted pose. Try again, or switch to a forehead touch or holding hands.

Faces don’t match real people. Expect this in photo 1 when you use your own photos. Photo 2 is built to keep your face, so use that one for likeness, and still check the result.

Bent chains or messy saree folds. Generate again and look closely before you post. Pick the version where the vertical chains are straight.

Plain, boring result. Your prompt is probably too short. Add pose, light and place.

The Prompt Copy Box

Use the boxes above. Copy the full text, don’t cut it short. For photo 2, attach your photo first. Then change one thing at a time, such as the saree colour or the light, so you can see what each change does.
